GHS has seen its fair share of standout Cross Country runners, but what senior standout Tyler Klouda is currently doing is unheard of. To start his senior season Klouda has won the titles at some of the top meets in the state of Ohio, including: OHSAA Early Bird Invitational, Billy Goat Invitational, Mentor Classic, PTC Super Duals and Boardman Spartan Invitational. Tyler’s season best time of 16:05.90 currently has him ranked in 5th place in Division 2.

Tyler has been a standout since his freshman year at GHS. Klouda has made the OHSAA State Cross Country Championships the previous two years, placing 5th as a sophomore and 18th as a junior. His success has also transferred to the indoor and outdoor track seasons. Tyler has made the Indoor and Outdoor State Track and Field Championships each of his three years of high school, earning All Ohio honors 4 times. Off the track, Tyler is equally as impressive in the classroom where he carries over a 4.0 GPA while taking mainly College Credit Plus coursework. It’s no surprise he is being pursued by numerous colleges for his athletic and academic achievements.
