Attention Middle School Families... We are thrilled to announce our next group of recipients for the prestigious "G-Men of the Month" recognition at Garfield Middle School! Through the G-Men of the Month program, we celebrate the outstanding achievements and embodiment of our District's Core Values by three remarkable individuals:
Jared (8): Staff members had mentioned that Jared asks thoughtful questions and is always willing to work with others in class. They had also stated that he is respectful, responsible, and is a good role model for his peers. Jared has a mature perspective and carries on great conversations with students and staff alike.
Abigail (7): Staff members had mentioned that Abigail is helpful, friendly, and kind to her classmates. She is responsible even when no one is looking and is always sure to follow through with her tasks and assignments.
Mrs. Gilmer (Staff): Mrs. Gilmer was nominated this month for demonstrating our Core Values of Communication, Teamwork, and Creativity by her fellow colleagues. The staff members had mentioned that she gives her time, talent, and treasure to keeping the BETA Club going for our students and for organizing the afternoon activities during the schoolwide Winter Celebration on December 20th.
The G-Men of the Month recognition is particularly special because it is nominated and voted on by both students and staff, highlighting the unity and support within our school. It serves as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and kindness that are at the heart of our GMS community.
