We are happy to introduce you to our new full-time substitute, Ms. Kate Carson. Ms. Carson attended THE Ohio State University earning a Bachelor of Arts in Strategic Communications and a minor in History. She then attended the University of Akron earning a Master of Science in Education. She has worked many different jobs including a Graduate Assistant of Informal Recreation at the University of Akron Student Recreation & Wellness Center, Yoga Instructor, Camp Recky Supervisor, and Camp Invention Teacher. Most recently she has served as a substitute at Garfield High School. Not only is Ms. Carson involved in the schools, she is coaching our varsity cheerleading squad and is the new Yoga instructor at the Garrettsville YMCA.
Ms. Carson is looking forward to getting to know new students and seeing familiar faces in the halls and classrooms. She is also eager to watch the football games on Friday nights from the sidelines with her cheerleaders!
