Driving a school bus is a great job for parents, retirees and anyone looking for meaningful part-time work! Being a bus driver requires specialized training but it is easier than most people think.
You can try it out for yourself during the Big Yellow Tryout. This is a simple way to see if being a bus driver is right for you!
Once aboard the JAG school bus, you will be able to see the view of the road from the driver’s seat, look through the seven rear- and side-view mirrors and take a test drive with one of our On-Board Instructors around the beautiful JAG campus.
To participate, you need to be 21 and a licensed driver. Bring your driver’s license to the event and arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled time slot to register. To reserve your time behind the wheel, pick a time slot below. Driving slots will be assigned in the order they are received and walk-ins will be permitted as slots are available.
