Attention Middle School Families... We are thrilled to announce the first recipients of the prestigious "G-Men of the Month" recognition at Garfield Middle School! Through the G-Men of the Month program, we celebrate the outstanding achievements and embodiment of our District's Core Values by three remarkable individuals:
Charlee (8): Staff members had mentioned that Charlee challenges her thinking and explains her thoughts well to others. She has great work ethic, is kind to all of her peers, is respectful, and always follows directions in class.
De'Andrea (7): Staff members had mentioned that De'Andrea works hard to improve daily, exhibits polite and kind behaviors to those around her, is always prepared for class, makes sure her work is completed on time, helps others in class when needed, and is driven to be successful.
Mrs. Bauer (Staff): Students had mentioned that Mrs. Bauer is an amazing teacher by helping them understand fractions better than ever before, making learning fun, ensuring everyone understands what they are learning, is always helpful when her students have a question, and finds different ways to explain things when her students don't understand the concepts.
The G-Men of the Month recognition is particularly special because it is nominated and voted on by both students and staff, highlighting the unity and support within our school. It serves as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and kindness that are at the heart of our GMS community.
