Attention Middle School Families... We are thrilled to announce our next group of recipients for the prestigious "G-Men of the Month" recognition at Garfield Middle School! Through the G-Men of the Month program, we celebrate the outstanding achievements and embodiment of our District's Core Values by three remarkable individuals:
Tenley (8): Staff members had mentioned that Tenley is always focused in class. She is a model student who uses her time wisely and when there is down time she is an avid reader. They are always impressed with how she can switch her attentions so quickly to tackle any problem, she is a leader in class academically, behaviorally, and always displays a positive attitude.
Emily (7): Staff members had mentioned that Emily demonstrates our Core Values of Responsibly, Teamwork, Respect, Kindness, and Engagement on a daily basis. She is a hard worker who works well with others and is always polite and respectful in the classroom. They also said she has a great sense of humor who treaters her classmates with kindness.
Mr. Pfleger (Staff): Students had mentioned that Mr. Pfleger connects with his students and makes his lesson fun and interesting for all students. He is a great listener and answers any question that comes up in class to the best of his ability. They also had mentioned that he sympathizes with his students and makes a point to understand them for who they are.
The G-Men of the Month recognition is particularly special because it is nominated and voted on by both students and staff, highlighting the unity and support within our school. It serves as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and kindness that are at the heart of our GMS community.
