Go G-Men!

Mrs. Law’s 7th grade ELA class recently took a walking field trip to the Garrettsville Public Library to enhance their learning experience for the biography and autobiography unit. The visit provided students with an opportunity to familiarize themselves with the library’s resources, sign up for library cards, and explore the wide range of materials available for their upcoming projects.

During the trip, students were guided through various sections of the library, learning how to navigate the catalog and find books that align with their unit's themes. Each student was encouraged to check out books for their individual research, helping them dive deeper into the world of biographies and autobiographies.

"This trip was a great way for students to engage with the library as a resource and make connections between reading and their personal interests," said Mrs. Law. "We’re excited to see how the library materials will support their work in the classroom."

The field trip not only strengthened students' research skills but also highlighted the importance of community resources in their educational journey.  It's a great time to be a G-Man!
