Go G-Men!

When winter weather forced the cancellation of the originally scheduled Middle School Winter Band Concert on Sunday, December 14th, Director Cebulla and the band didn't let that stop them from sharing their hard work. Instead, they brought the holiday spirit directly to their fellow students during G-Men Time on Thursday, December 18th.

The entire student body was treated to a fantastic 20-minute performance filled with favorite holiday tunes that had everyone in a festive mood. From classic seasonal melodies to upbeat holiday favorites, the band's repertoire showcased the impressive skills they've developed throughout the semester.

What really stood out was the confidence and talent displayed by student soloists. These brave performers stepped into the spotlight and delivered memorable moments that highlighted their individual musicianship. Their poise and skill demonstrated the incredible growth that happens when students dedicate themselves to their craft.

The band sounded fantastic, and the energy in the room proved that live music has a special power to bring people together. Performing in front of their peers rather than a traditional evening audience didn't diminish the moment—if anything, it made the concert feel even more special and connected to our school community.

Go G-Men!

A huge shoutout goes to our music department for their unwavering commitment to keeping the arts alive at James A. Garfield. By giving students opportunities to showcase their talents and express themselves through music, they're enriching our school culture and helping students discover passions that can last a lifetime. Thank you for all you do to make moments like these possible! It was a great day to be a G-Man!
