Attention Middle School Families... We are thrilled to announce our next group of recipients for the prestigious "G-Men of the Month" recognition at Garfield Middle School! Through the G-Men of the Month Program, we celebrate the outstanding achievements and embodiment of our District's Core Values by three remarkable individuals:
Kamryn (8): Staff members had mentioned that Kamryn always sits in the front of the room and has had an A on every test. They had also mentioned that she tends to carry the class by leading by example and provides thoughtful input on class discussions.
Other 8th Grade Nominees for the month included: Lucy Lallathin and Jayden Bluhm
Ben (7): Staff members had mentioned that Ben is a great kid who is kind and patient to everyone he interacts with on campus. They had also mentioned that he makes insightful contributions to class discussions and is extremely focused on doing his best work.
Other 7th Grade Nominees for the month included: Acie Korosec, Leni Macek, Lillian Callahan, and Nathan Kaufman
Mr. Weber (Staff): Students have said that Mr. Weber is kind, funny, and makes a genuine effort to make students feel valued and supported. They had also mentioned that he creates an enjoyable classroom atmosphere with fun activities like Friday games and that they appreciate him going Above and Beyond by keeping our Chess Club and eSports programs running.
Other Staff Nominees for the month included: Mr. Gilbert, Mrs. Cozad, and Mr. M. Pfleger
The G-Men of the Month recognition is particularly special because it is nominated and voted on by both students and staff, highlighting the unity and support within our school. It serves as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and kindness that are at the heart of our GMS community.
