Go G-Men!

Attention Middle School Families... We are thrilled to announce our next group of recipients for the prestigious "G-Men of the Month" recognition at Garfield Middle School!  Through the G-Men of the Month Program, we celebrate the outstanding achievements and embodiment of our District's Core Values by three remarkable individuals:

Trenton (8):  Staff members had mentioned that Trenton had been a leader in his recent group project this month and worked hard to make sure his group was on task and doing what they were supposed to be doing.  They had also mentioned that he is always willing to help his group understand concepts if they are unsure of the information.

Other 8th Grade Nominees for the month included: Emilia Maynard

Katyln (7): Staff members had mentioned that Katyln has a positive attitude every day and that she gives a solid effort in class, always striving to do better.  They had also mentioned that she is kind to others and works well in any group that she is put in.

Other 7th Grade Nominees for the month included: Ryhs Haney, Andrew West

Mrs. Law (Staff):  Students have said that they appreciate the flexible and student-centered approach that Mrs. Law brings to the classroom, providing them with choice but also maintaining strong academic expectations.  They had also said that she brightens the classroom environment and offers thoughtful support while making writing tasks engaging and acc3essible through clear explanations.

Other Staff Nominees for the month included: Mrs. Giammo, Mr. M. Pfleger

Go G-Men!

The G-Men of the Month recognition is particularly special because it is nominated and voted on by both students and staff, highlighting the unity and support within our school.  It serves as a testament to the hard work, dedication, and kindness that are at the heart of our GMS community.

Let's take a moment to congratulate Trenton, Katlyn, and Mrs. Law for their well-deserved recognition as this month's G-Men of the Month!  To view the announcement live on Good Morning Garfield click here (Episode -- May 7, 2026).  These individuals' achievements inspire us all, and we are proud to have you as part of our school community.   It's a great time to be a G-Man!
