Tonight, the James A. Garfield second graders took center stage and absolutely hit it out of the park with their musical performance, “It’s a Hit!” Performing in front of a packed gymnasium, our students sang, danced, and brought the joy of America’s favorite pastime to life through music.
This incredible performance was made possible by the hard work and heart of our music teacher, Mr. Logan, whose passion for music shines through in every note. A big thank you also goes to our second grade teaching team for their support, Mr. Cebulla for streaming the event so families at home could enjoy the show, and our amazing custodial staff for setting up and tearing down the space so seamlessly.
The celebration doesn’t end there—our students will follow up this memorable performance with a field trip to a baseball game, tying the whole theme together in a fun and educational way.
As Mr. Logan always says, “A community that sings together stays together.” What a great night to be G-Men!
