Update

August 3, 2020 - Weekly update on plans for the upcoming school year:

I want to make everyone aware that we hope to release our full reopening plan in the coming days.  The plan will detail all the safety procedures our team will be putting in place to keep our students and staff safe.

You will also see a revised school calendar that will have students starting a week later so we can prepare our staff with training on all of our new safety procedures. The calendar will be posted online in the coming days and a call will be made to explain the changes.

I would like to thank everyone who has completed their Final Forms sections on Learning Plan Selection and Transportation information.  These are two important pieces of information needed by our staff to begin finalizing plans to start the school year.  We hope that after you review the full reopening plan later this week that you will be able to make the most informed decisions for your family.

Next I would like to remind everyone of the online store we have created for parents to buy masks, gaiters, hand sanitizer or wipes.  The store link can be found at https://jagppe2020.itemorder.com/sale.

Finally, we are seeing some positive news from the Governor in regards to the states on the suggested 14 day quarantine list.  Last week a number of states were removed from the list.  As a reminder, if you have a child in band or athletics and are returning from a visit to Mississippi, Arizona, Florida, Alabama, Idaho, Kansas or South Carolina, you will not be permitted to attend practice for 14 days. Please inform your coach or band director as early as possible. This quarantine will NOT impact a child’s ability to make a team or playing time.

Over the coming week there will be a significant amount of information available to you.  Please take a moment to review this information and feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

Have a great day.

Go G-Men!
