Just a few facts on the Solar Eclipse today:
-Totality will be between 3:10-3:20 PM for roughly 3 minutes
-Use your ISO 12312-2 certified glasses to view
-Temps may drop by up to 15 degrees
-Will not occur in Ohio again until 2099
Return your glasses to school tomorrow. We will be sending them to an organization that ships them to schools in other countries to view a future eclipse!

This spring JAG Elementary is planning activities where community members and families come in to help teach a skill/activity to the students. We are searching for volunteers to help lead a group. On these two dates, you would pair with an elementary teacher. You would plan an activity that could be completed over two sessions. You do not have to have a specific skill. Some ideas for activities are sports, crafts, auto mechanics, writing, dancing, singing, etc. We are looking for an engaging activity that students can interact with others and enjoy experiences that we do not typically spend time on at school.
